Serviam Catholic Charismatic Community
Serviam CCC was established in July 2003 by two Servant Leaders, Jaime Cardinal Sin, and distinguished lay leader Antonio “Sonny” De Los Reyes. The Cardinal then appointed Fr. Anton CT Pascual as Serviam Spiritual Director.
Serviam has been blessed with the guidance of its past Foundation Chairmen, starting from Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales and Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle. In 2020, Jose Cardinal Advincula was appointed Archbishop of Manila and is currently the Foundation Chairman of Serviam.
Evolving through the years, the community’s mission today is “to embody and propagate Servant Leadership of Christ to the Church and society,” and its vision is “to influence everyone we encounter to become Servant Leaders following God’s purpose.”
The Community Core Values are grouped into three framework pillars:
INTRA (SELF)
• Humility
• Prayerfulness & Discernment
• Wisdom
INTER (OTHERS)
• Obedience
• Authenticity in Service
• Kindness
TRANS (BEYOND & ACROSS)
• Mercy & Compassion
• Righteous Governance
• Good Stewardship
As a Servant Leadership community, Serviam embarked on three major conferences: Servant Leadership in the Year of Faith in June 2013; Servant Leadership in Public Service in 2015; and the most recent, Servant Leadership in Business in 2017.
To build up its mission of propagating Servant Leadership, and in celebration of the 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines, as well as in support of the Synodality of the Church led by Pope Francis, Serviam developed a Servant Leadership Curriculum, to be offered initially to Church lay leaders. This is Serviam’s gift to the Church.
As a community, Serviam regularly gathers for Corporate Worship every Tuesday at 7:30 PM at San Carlos Chapel, Layforce Seminary, Makati City. Its office address is at Unit 1402 Reliable Building, Malugay St., Brgy. Bel-Air, Makati City.
