St. Peter Community

The St. Peter Community was organized in September 1980 as an office prayer group. Its purpose was to reach out to the employees of St. Peter Life Plan, Incorporated. As time went on, it grew bigger and bigger, that at the prompting of the Holy Spirit to the core group, they decided to organize a small charismatic covenanted community in 1983. It was then made open to the public.

Since then, members were recruited to join the community. Members were assigned to a small group assuming the name of the Twelve Tribes of Israel, in the year of their commitment. Service Committees were also formed.

It was incorporated at the Securities and Exchange Commission on September 21, 1994. St. Peter Community joined the Federation of Transparochial Catholic Charismatic Communities within the Ecclesiastical Province of Manila.

The community is composed of 15 members of the Board of Trustees. It is governed by the elected members of the council with its Presiding Elder as the head servant.
